Project Manager - Digital Photogrammetry

BACKGROUND Digital Photogrammetry deals with processing of Ariel Photographs, which are normally taken by Aeroplanes flying at the height of around 3000 fts. over the ground. These photographs are then processed using special equipments to generate the 3D Digital Terrain Map (3D DTM) the processing of the photographs requires lot of skills and expertise and also are only possible with sophisticated expensive computer equipments.

PROFILE HOPE Technologies Ltd is setting up a Digital Photogrammetry Lab with Photogrammetric tools from Leica of Sweeden. We are looking for a person to head the team involved in the processing.
a) The person should ideally be from a Civil Engineering/Geology background with at least 4-6 years experience in the related field.
b) He/she should be familiar with the processes of photogrametry and should have worked on real life Digital Photogrammetric processing.
c) Ideally the candidates should be familiar with the operations using photogrammetric tools from Leica.

FEA Consultants
Preferably Doctoral/Post-Doctoral degree holders 10-12 years experience in Design/Engineering in Automotive/Aerospace industry. Should be able to analyse real life problems and offer workable solutions to clients on CAD/CAM/CAE. Should be familiar with the following tools : NASTRAN, FEMAP, HYPERMESH, OPTISTRUCT, DYNA etc. Preferably should have exposure to Linear and Non-linear and Static/Dynamic analysis. Exposure to composites would be preferred.

FEA Executives

Similar as above with 4 -5 years industry experience

Project Manager

MTech/B Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering with around 6-8 years in the CAD/R&D of Automotice/Aerospace company. Should be proficient in leading a team in CATIA, PROE analysis. Should have competence in handling both surface and solids. Should have a knowledge of modeling Class A surfaces. Would be responsible for delivering projects on the respective CAD Platforms including interacting with Overseas clients.

CAD Executives

Same as above with 3-4 years industry experience

Project Leaders/Team Leaders (Software)

Should have a total experience of 2-3 years with minimum one year experience as a Team Leader. Should be well conversant with the entire software development Life Cycle. Should be able to manage small and large teams and also be capable of client interaction.

Skill : Java Core and Advanced, ASP, backend Oracle, SQL Server.

Preferred : VB, VC, VC++, Sybase

Senier Mechanical Design Engineers

Hope Consulting, Inc. has openings in Houston, Texas, and elsewhere for Senior Mechanical Design Engineers with a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and 6 or more years of progressive experience in different industry segments. Experience in Oil & Petrochemical Industry preferred. Openings for Mechanical Design Engineers with 4-6 yrs of experience also available. Must be willing to relocate, if necessary.

Job Duties: Plan, schedule and conduct assignments involving important and multiple projects; prepare modeling guidelines, review and evaluate progress related to design and manufacture of mechanical equipments, primarily oil drilling equipments; liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations; provide engg. solutions to requests, including creation/revision and documentation of engineering drawings (Pro-E); provide on site client support for project execution.
