Automatic generation of the detailed design drawings in AutoCAD R14 using the parameters entered in SAP.

The objective was to enable the transfer of data from SAP to AutoCAD and generation of the different kinds of layout drawings based on the data being passed into the SAP Configurator. The connectors between the two were developed using Visual Basic and Activex Controls. The program enabled the generation of the following detailed drawings :

Development of a software to design the press tools for the forging of the bearing rings.
Visual Basic 6.0, MS-Access, AutoCAD R14, Auto Lisp
The objective was to develop Computer Aided Product and Tool Design (CAPTAD) to generate the product profile and the press tool drawings at various stages of forging. CAPTAD uses accurate geometrical methods to calculate the profile at each forging stage of the ring and uses volume balancing method to calculate the ring profile. The tools are then designed automatically using the generated product profile. CAPTAD can design rings for the following types of bearing:
· Taper Roller Bearing
· Cylindrical roller bearing
· Deep Groove ball bearing
Touchscreen based e-Catalog application.
Visual Basic 6.0, MS-Access
The objective was to develop a touchscreen based e-Catalog application for a very large and established showroom dealing in all kinds of sanitary products required for kitchens or bathrooms.
Application allows the customer to uniquely identify himself and select products as per his requirements and create his shopping list. It is a distributed application and can be accessed and monitored by any authorized user across the network. It also supports various linkages, like - linking with sales monitoring systems, with inventory control systems, etc.
GIS based Telecom Management Network System

The objectives of this application are to efficiently manage the complete record of textual and graphic data associated with a Telecom System and use it as a tool for the Planning, Installation, Operational and maintenance actives in the Network.
